England Beat Denmark To Reach Euro 2020 Final

England beat Denmark to reach Euro 2020 final

Captain Harry Kane scores the winning goal in extra time

England have reached their first major men's final since 1966 after beating Denmark 2-1 in extra time in the semi-final of Euro 2020.

Captain Harry Kane scored the winning goal in the 104th minute, following up on his own saved penalty. It was Kane's fourth goal of the tournament, and it sends England into Sunday's final against Italy at Wembley Stadium.

Denmark took the lead in the 30th minute through Mikkel Damsgaard, but England equalised in the 39th minute through Simon Kjaer's own goal.

The match went into extra time, and Kane had a chance to win it in the 102nd minute when he was awarded a penalty. However, his spot-kick was saved by Kasper Schmeichel.

But Kane was not to be denied, and he scored the winner two minutes later. England will now be hoping to win their first major trophy since the 1966 World Cup, when they beat West Germany in the final.
